To be effective in this position; you should be comfortable with designing software applications and undertaking hands-on software development activities.

Job Description:

Overall Experience: 5+ years Relevant Experience : 6+ years

Salary package: starting from AUD 100,000 and superannuation

Job Description:

Acting as the software engineer of the group to perform design and implementation tasks for our various platforms.

Main accountabilities are

• High level python scripting skills to automate manual data entry/process (huge data)
• High level excel skills eg pivot tables (Excel proficiency )
• Preferably some Telco background

Technical Skills:

Technical Experience:

Must have hands-on experience with enterprise level software development, integration, and implementation of Micro service architecture.

Technical Skills:

· Strong understanding of micro service architecture

· Hands-on experience in developing and deploying micro services

· Good understanding and experience in Spring/Micro service/API development Experience working with a source code management tool such as Git Experience working with container technologies

· Experience working on legacy Java EE / JMS based systems

· Experience working with a source code management tool such as Git

· Experience in performing technical assessment of current state of legacy systems

· Knowledge on transforming a legacy monolithic application to a microservice based application

· Expertise in design and development of Spring Boot and Spring Cloud applications

· Expert is design and development of RESTful APIs using JAX-RS and JSON

· Strong understanding of SOA, EAI and EIP

· Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins), VCS (Git) and build (Gradle) systems

· Stories Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

· Excellent Communication Skills

Highly Desirable:

• Advanced level knowledge of Python in large-scale applications.
• Data processing (ETL) pipeline development.
• Knowledge and experience with Django web framework and ORM.
• Full-stack development experience.

Good to have:

• Programming Languages: Pandas, Scala, Java, Golang
• Hadoop Big Data technologies such as HDFS, Hive, HBase, NiFi, Spark.
• Experience with Linux system administration.
• Knowledge of telecommunications datasets and formats such as ASN.1.
• Good working knowledge with relational and non-relational database backends such as MSSQL, MySQL, Cassandra/HBase etc.
• Test automation experience
• Knowledge of working with DevOps tools such as – Bamboo, Jira, BitBucket/GitLab, SonarQube, Coverity etc.
